LDS Nursery Resources

Enjoy these resources and lessons that I have put together to share.

LDS Helps to go with "Behold Your Little Ones" - Listed by Lesson Number

Make your nursery a wonderful memory for you and your children! This project grew out of an assignment for my "Teaching Methods" class at BYU in 2004. I've shared this work with over 1000 nursery workers who have joined my yahoo group worldwide since 2005. I am looking forward to sharing my ideas that are easy to duplicate and most of them come from the Children's Friend or other church produced resources. As I update to the new format, I hope that nursery workers will be able to use these carefully coordinated ideas for the new "Behold Your Little Ones" Nursery manual.

http://www.bookofmormonposters.com/lds-clipart/search.php?search=sacred%20grove Here are several options for Joseph Smith's prayer in the grove. the children can do leaf rubbings on the coloring page. The manual also has some nice pictures.
Advance Preparation:
Hopefully, you have saved plastic Easter eggs for next week's lesson. Ask parents if they have any left or see if you can find some at a dollar store.
The next few lessons are full of scripture stories. You may want to use a dvd for a gathering activity. You can show a few scripture stories from The Children's Scriture Stories DVD. This link is to the DVD for the Children's Scripture Stories (the whole set). You can see if your library has it or will buy it. It is $13.00 with free shipping and would also make a nice family gift.
