Gathering Activity: Easter Egg hunt. You can do this a few times and vary how you do it. The kids can hide the eggs, they can each have a turn to find one, they can toss their egg in the basket. Make sure you tape the eggs shut or they will open them.
Activities: You can color code the eggs so that the active ones are a certain color. This activity can support the lesson. Use plastic Easter eggs with picture numbers and ideas from the manual (126, 94, 22 and the word "Book of Mormon") in them and scriptures and pictures that go with the lesson. A child is chosen to pick one to see what is inside.
Snack: In your prayer mention how our bodies are a gift from Jesus and need to be kept healthy. During snack time talk about how the grains, vegetables etc. we eat are mentioned in the D & C (Word of Wisdom)and Jesus wants us to eat healthy food to grow up strong.
Songs: The children choose an egg and sing a song. "Tell Me the Stories of Jesus" 57 CS, "Jesus Said Love Everyone" 61 CS, "Book of Mormon Stories" 118 CS, "Search Ponder and Pray" 109 CS
